Mt Tzouhalem -

When I caught out of bed and looked out the window, I smiled. It was clear and the sky was a mix of blue, yellow and orange like it is in the summer. I started my first climb just after 9am, near the top, the ground was partial frozen mud and there was still snow in the dark areas. The top of Double D had some snow. Hartland -

Waited until Sunday afternoon to go riding but there was still a little too much snow. The rest of the trails were ponds, streams a bit of prime dirt and even a mud pit that tried to grab my bike like a troll as I rode through. It was a good day to practice bike positioning, steering and risk management. Naturally I had my slowest times on Strava but I focused on slick climbs and did a couple climbs up Skulls and the end for the hell of it. It will be nice to come back from rides with dry...
